Press Release

Payments infrastructure isn't glamorous software. It doesn't show up in "top 10 SaaS tools" roundups. It doesn't get reviewed at scale, because most of the people running it are deep in enterprise stacks, not filling out software review forms.
That's exactly why we listed.
Guardian - our PCI Vault & Tokenization component, and Specter - our Fraud Intelligence Layer - are now live on OMR Reviews, one of Europe's largest and most trusted software review platforms.

Why this matters
Most payment tools get evaluated behind closed doors - RFPs, analyst briefings, vendor demos with a script. Real practitioners rarely get to share what they actually think.
We want to change that. If you're running Guardian to isolate cardholder data and shrink your PCI scope, or using Specter to build a fraud intelligence layer that's actually yours - we'd like to hear from you. Your experience is more useful to the next payment architect than any feature sheet we could write.
What Guardian and Specter do
Guardian is Hellgate's PCI Vault & Tokenization component. It isolates sensitive card data from your application stack, making your environment instantly PCI DSS compliant without rebuilding your entire infrastructure around a single provider's rules.
Specter is our Fraud Intelligence Layer - a composable component that sits inside your payment flow and gives you control over fraud logic without being locked into a black box. Your data, your models, your rules.
Both are components of Hellgate's Composable Payment Architecture. Use one. Use both. Use neither and pick something else from the stack. That's the point.
Leave a review
If you've worked with Guardian or Specter - as a customer, partner, or integration - head to OMR and share what you think. Honest reviews help the payments community make better infrastructure decisions.

Jens Kohnen was driven to co-start the company by the conviction that payment infrastructure should empower businesses, not bind them. Recognizing that many large organizations were locked into monolithic, opaque setups, Jens embarked on a journey to free enterprises from these rigid stacks. His mission is to enable companies to regain full ownership and monetize their flows, transforming payments from a cost center into a strategic lever for growth.
