For this mission, we need more sales power! That's why we are looking for a highly motivated and goal-oriented Account Executive (m/f/d) with 3+ years of sales experience in full-cycle Payment.

Your role in our universe 🪐
  • Manage and drive the entire sales process, including prospecting, lead qualification, value presentation, proposal generation, and contract negotiation, resulting in new customer acquisition and manage assigned live accounts

  • Execute the sales process with a high degree of efficiency and hands-on engagement, prioritizing activities that directly drive revenue and avoiding low-impact engagements

  • Act as an independent business owner for your territory, proactively making strategic decisions regarding deal prioritization and resource allocation to meet and exceed targets

  • Proactively contribute to pipeline generation through strategic outbound efforts (in collaboration with our SDR/BDR teams) and the effective management of inbound leads, maintaining a healthy pipeline coverage

  • Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to understand prospects' key business challenges, and articulate our platform's value proposition as a strategic solution, particularly within complex B2B software or payment environments

  • Provide reliable sales forecasts to management and prepare drafts dedicated decks, materials for pitches / upsells and standard sales materials

  • Be an expert in the B2B software/payment landscape, understanding competitive offerings, pricing, and market trends to effectively position our product

  • Be a natural on stage - show your face at conferences and proudly represent Hellgate® wherever you go

Your star qualities 💫
  • 3+ years of full-cycle Payment sales experience (B2B is a strong-plus) within SaaS or FinTech/Payments technology, best case from payment acceptance perspective

  • A highly autonomous and goal-oriented approach, with a proven ability to make data-informed decisions that align with quarterly and annual objectives

  • Exceptional execution skills, valuing efficiency and high-impact selling over low-value relationship activities

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to build immediate rapport and trust with senior decision-makers

  • A proactive, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset, with a strong commitment to continuous learning

  • A genuine passion for technology (SaaS/FinTech) and the drive to deep-dive into complex product details and underlying technical infrastructure

  • Self-organized person who loves working in a remote set up but ready to travel when appropriate

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English

  • Fluency in using MS Office, Pipedrive and AI tools to boost your success
