Technical Solution Consultant / Architect (m/f/d)

For this mission, we need more technical depth at the customer interface! That's why we are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Technical Solution Consultant / Architect (m/f/d) with deep payments expertise and a builder's mindset.

Your role in our universe 🪐

• Be the bridge between our Engineering team and Enterprise customers – translating complex technical concepts into business language and back

• Develop complex solution architectures with Hellgate, tailored to customer requirements (e.g. airline, retailer, automotive)

• Prepare, run and follow up on technical customer workshops and scoping sessions

• Align technical solution designs (payment flows, PSP integrations, tokenization setups) with customers and our Product team

• Guide customers through API integration and onboarding

• Support Sales in demos and RFPs, and craft technical documentation and solution briefs

• Feed customer insights back into our product roadmap

• Drive proof-of-concept and prototype development yourself and alongside the Engineering team

Your star qualities 💫

• 3+ years as a Technical Solution Consultant or Technical Solution Architect with strong technical depth

• 2+ years in Payments / FinTech with hands-on depth in: PSPs, Acquiring, Issuing, Tokenization, and Scheme know-how (EMV, 3DS, PCI DSS, PSD2/PSD3)

• Solid experience with REST/JSON API design, microservice architectures, event-driven systems, webhooks, async flows, and cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) including containers

• Genuine conviction in agentic commerce and AI-driven payment flows, as you lead highly innovative technical projects along merchants and issuers

• Structured requirements management from discovery to solution sign-off

• Proven stakeholder management at Enterprise level (C/VP)

• Fluent in German and English – confident in technical presentations and workshops

• Self-driven, hands-on working style – you lead customers through implementation, not just advise

• Willingness to travel for customer on-site meetings (~10%)

Nice to have ✨

• Experience with Banking as a Service or White-Label Issuing

• Familiarity with AI Wallets or Token Orchestration scenarios

• Working knowledge of Postman, OpenAPI, and field-level root-cause analysis
